United Kingdom – Kynetec, provider of customer information to the agriculture and animal health market, has appointed Paul Walker to the company’s executive committee as chief operating officer for market information cultures and customers.

Walker (Photo) joins Kynetec from financial information organization Consumer Intelligence, where he was chief operating officer, leading the company’s customer-facing arm. He has over 25 years of experience in data, insight and research, having spent most of his career at Nielsen.

Walker’s appointment replaces current COO Richard Jameson, who is stepping back from the business and will continue to support Kynetec on specific projects on a part-time consultancy basis.

At Kynetec, Walker will be responsible for managing the crop market and customer insights team of more than 400 research professionals in 23 countries globally. Kynetec operates the FarmTrak panel of farmers in approximately 50 countries, as well as the Sigma tool that provides market intelligence for global strategic crop protection and seed decisions.

Kynetec also provides tailored customer-focused customer insights and analysis on business topics related to opportunity assessment, pricing, user experience, communication, concept testing, segmentation, to branding, customer experience and channel and Salesforce.
