AUSTRALIA – Community Panels and digital research company Verve have appointed Daniel Alexander-Head to lead its new Global Research Innovation Center in Sydney, Australia.

The center will help deploy research tools in new markets and will initially focus on sustainability and environment, social and governance (ESG).

Other tools from Verve Australia covering areas such as culture and trends, semiotics, social intelligence and innovation will also be released globally.

Alexander-Head (Photo) will act as the global innovation manager in his role as the center’s leader.

Prior to joining Verve, Alexander-Head was chief innovation officer at Potentiate and is the founder of online grocery company Mother Hubbard. He has also worked at Qualtrics and Vision Critical.

The new center follows the opening of a Center of Research Excellence in Johannesburg, South Africa, earlier this year.

Last month, Verve hired Kelly McKnight as executive director to expand its culture and trends, semiotics, and social intelligence practice.

Andrew Cooper, Founder and Managing Director of Verve, said: “There is strong symmetry with our global center of research excellence in Johannesburg.

“Our organic growth model is built around a unique global team approach – bringing the best of our skills to each of our territories and deploying them in our markets in a truly joint way.”
